Lockdown VII

Following the latest restrictions announced by the Victorian Government today Golf Courses will close at 11.59am Saturday 21st August. The Riverside Golf Club and all its facilities will be closed and unavailable to members and the public during this lockdown. We apologize for any inconvenience but its beyond our control. Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing back on the course in the very near future.

Lockdown VI

Following the latest restrictions announced by the Victorian Government today Golf Courses MUST close at 11.59pm Thursday 5th August through to 11.59pm Thursday 12th August, (dependent on further government advice). Thus Riverside Golf Club and all its facilities will be closed and unavailable to members and the public during this lockdown. We apologize for any inconvenience but its beyond our control. Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing back on the course in the very near future.

Annual Handicap Match Play Championships

Today the Riverside Golf Club held their annual Handicap Match Play Championships. Taking on the 'Super 6' format first played in Perth back in 2017, as part of the European Tour. All matches today (Qtr, Semi & Cup Final) were played over 6 holes of Handicap Matchplay, with some going onto extra play-off holes.

Final Results

A Grade: Jarrad Stokker won the Watson Cup on the 2nd play off hole from Chirs O'Brien
B Grade: Gary Sharman won the Henshilwood Cup from Alan Connolly 1up
C Grade: Peter George won the Hollick Cup from Gary McNally 3 and 2
D Grade: Kevin Eastwood won the Holland Cup from Ricky Hayes 2up

We are back...again.

Riverside Golf Course will reopen tomorrow, 28th July, following the announcement by the Victorian Government. The Riverside GC will be following all density and Covid 19 safe protocols as outlined by the Victorian Government. The 'time sheet' is open now for the week ahead. The Watson (A), Henshilwood (B), Hollick (C) & Holland (D) Matchplay will be held this Sunday. The draw for each quarter final will be advertised later tody.
